The History of Ideas group transcends the usual subject boundaries and concentrates on assessing the big ideas of the past in terms of their coherence and consequences. In terms of format, think 18^th Century Coffee House and controversial opinions (bring your own flask of coffee). We are a new group in this U3a and hope to provide a home for the historically irreverent, whether as philosophers, psychologists, sociologists or the just plain curious.
